  3. Kathy, What a beautiful series of photos. We're getting our replenishing rain today. When I went out for my morning walk, I noticed that the river near my house was just about the lowest I've ever seen it. By 10:00 a.m., though, torrential rain was falling. It's hard on my delphinium -- most of those gorgeous spires broke under the weight of all that rain -- but the garden really needs a long cool drink. -Jean
